More collectable Lightships
Spoontiques make mostly Lighthouses, but have been known to mold Lightships from time to time. Most of the designs that I have found are that of the more modern, Coast Guard built ships (WLV-600 series). These are plaster or ceramic pieces.


Nantucket II, thier more favorite of the lightships

This example is of good size and has a working light in the tower.


 


Two more Nantucket II

Both are I believe the same mold, but the one at the top has a foll set of portholes, whereas the one to the left has the ship's name, Nantucket raised in prace of the portholes. If anyone knows the reason why, please e-mail me here.....
